Miss Universe 2008 Winner Is………..

The Miss Universe contest was last night in the US

The five finalists are here in the article.

What interests me though is how the five finalists are mainly South American apart from one Russian.

Now I believe South American women to be the most beautiful women in the world, personal view I know but every time I meet a beautiful women who takes my breath away they have mainly been from the South American Continent.

Dominican, Brazilian, Mexican, Venezuelan, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Columbian,Peruvian women have all crossed my path of beauty, and then to add to that they have all had amazing personalities.

Maybe I have been very lucky, gladly I have.

So this leads me to this question if South American women are so beautiful and are voted to be, by the Miss World pageants and personally people who love beauty, why are so many not so known to the western media world compared to European women.

Gisele is famous but I have met more beautiful women from Brazil then her and probably given the chance are far more interesting, and trying to come up with famous South Americans in the Western World Media is difficult.

Is it the language barrier, well you wouldn’t have thought so as Spainish is the third most spoken language in the world and also the personality would be an ideal counteract for the in your face western women.

So for me the winner of Miss Universe is the South American Continent and trying to show that beauty is in every part of the world.
